PVB Studio At Seven Month Mark

Now that I've gotten my son's honeymoon reservations at Kidani taken care of, it's time to move on to my next question.

My other two sons and I plan on a two week trip next year during F&W. I've decided on PVB but will forego trying to get a LV studio as I had originally planned. Not sure if it would be safer to go ahead and book a studio at AKV, my home resort, at the 11 month mark this October. I could then try to change my reservation to PVB at the seven month mark.

My question is whether it would be difficult to get a studio for 15 nights for a stay during mid September being that it's not my home resort.

Yes, book your HR at 11 months, so that you know you have some where to stay. Then "see" if you can get into PVB at 7 months.

PVB continues to be sold (and be declared), so it's hard to predict availability. Right now, they just declared a new batch, but sales are way behind the number of units declared, which means for early birds at 7 months there is often a worm to be had. Hard to say where that is next March.

This past week I just finished booking PVB for 10 nights 7 months out. Did the first 7 nights online and there was full availability at 8 AM (Eastern). However, on future days the earlier days started filling up (In my case, I started by booking 9/22-29. When I looked on February 24th, 9/23 was full.) Now that it's March 1st, only 4 of the 10 we got are currently available. Definitely glad I started at exactly 7 months, and called MS each day to add the one extra day each time.

We just booked 10 days at the Poly for this September/October. I really wanted LV but the day before I could book for our first 7 days LV was all booked for our arrival day and other days are now booked up. We did get Standard view but I have seen days during our trip no longer available. It makes me believe it will be tough but not impossible to book there.
