Puttting pictures in signature

How do I put a picture in my signature? I've tried and tried with no luck!

Nope I'm a dope who's tried EVERYTHING or at least everything I know but can't get a picture in a post or in my siggy line. Is it because I have the picture I want to share on Imagestation.com or is it because I'm simply computer illiterate???? I figured I'd have trouble resizing a photo but thought I could at least post one but uh-huh.

I've almost pm'd you a few times Dan but I hated to bother you so I've given up.

Yikes, crazyforgoofy, never a bother, please do. Also, make a post on the Tech board, looking for help. Somebody will help you, trust me. And you WILL be able to do a picture, never failed yet.

hi cfg and ddreamer:

the easiest way to do it is this:

1. go to http://www.imageshack.com and choose the picture file you want to upload

2. click on the link that says COPY URL - this will highlight the address of your pic. Right click on it and click copy (ctrl-c)

3. open another window, go to disboards, and go to user cp at the top of disboards.

4. click on edit profile

5. in the signature box, paste the url you copied from imageshack by right clicking in the box and click on paste (ctrl-v)

6. voila - it's done.

7. if the image is too big for the signature guidelines, I can resize it for you once it's posted.
