I like having my park passes put on my room key. We did this last year and it was so nice just having one thing to keep up with. We plan on getting six day park hopper pluses this year. My question is if you put it on your room key but don't use all the days or extra options while there, are they still available for future trips even though your room key would obviously not work?

We've done this before and they are still available to use. We checked when we bought them to make sure and we've gone back since and used them up - no problems!

Yes! The hopper days are not actually stored on your room key -- they are stored in the WDW computing system. The code on the room key just gives you access to them, and that access does not expire.

What do you need to do to get your park passes and room key all on one card?? We have been to DW before but have always had two separate cards. Do we have to wait until we get there to make our hopper purchase?? Isn't it more expensive to wait until you get there?? WE were planning on buying our hoppers at our Disneystore before we left should we not do this. Thanks for any help you can give me to clear this up:)

A follow up question as well. If you buy your tickets ahead of time, any possibility of having the front desk transfer that to your room key?

No. You can't add passes that were already purchased to your room keys. It can only be done when you purchase your passes from your resort at check in or afterwards.
