If we buy tickets online at Disneyworld.com before our arrival, will they put those tickets on our room keys at check-in, like I have read they do for Magic Your Way Packages? (We have a room only reservation at the AKL)

I would say "yes". We buy our tickets at Shades of Green then go back to our Disney Resort and have them combined with our room key. It's a lot more convenient than carrying around both tickets and room keys.

That's what I want to do next year, because SOG tickets are cheaper for us. Question though, do you have to get your tickets from SOG before you check into your Disney resort, or can you check in first and then go to SOG to get tickets later and yet still have them put on your already issued room card?

BabyFu18 - We check-in to the resort first, then drive over to SOG to purchase the tickets. Then head back to the hotel guest service desk to have them switched over. Logistically, we should probably get the tix first then check-in, but I'm always too anxious plus we usually have about an hour or two to kill before room is ready anyway.

I've done it several times! I have alkso gotten park tickets transfered off an old room key onto a current one.

You must have the tickets BEFORE you check in. When the CM registers you, they will load the amount of days that you purchased onto your room key.
We have done this 3 years in a row. It works great.

They will even load old "No Expiration" days onto your key.

can you purchase tickets from undercover tourist.com and put those tickets onto your room key? I already purchased my tickets, but would love the convenience of putting them on the room key to have less to carry.

leaving in 7 days!!!!

As long as you have a valid park pass, they will load it on your room key, with the exception of the annual pass.

Thanks everyone but what if each of the people in our party have a different number of days on their ticket, do they have your names on your card or picture so we can see who has each ticket and the correct amount of days?

We bought our no expiration tickets in '05 through a 3rd party. We asked the concierge to add our park tix to our room key when we were at AKL in May and she said that we were better off with our paper tickets because the room keys get de-magnitized so easily and if we didn't purchase the tickets or a package through Disney, it would be difficult for them to replace the correct number of days.

Is it possible to switch the room pass tickets for paper tickets instead? I have room keys from last year with one day tickets and I'm concerned the cards will de-magnetize before we get to use them. I still have non-expiring tickets so I'm using those first.
