The rolly-thing just died tonight. I can't scroll with it anymore. Do I need a new mouse? This is the original mouse so, I guess 3+ years is good, right? I hate not having the rolly-thing! :(

I also hate the idea of pulling this desk out from the wall and, hooking up a new mouse! Oh well!

Have you tried cleaning the trackball? It might be that there is some hair or dust causing it to malfunction. I find after a good cleaning mine moves smoothly. Some debris could be blocking the sensors. If not, time for a new mouse. Three years is pretty good for a mouse.

Sometimes just restarting the computer can fix it. It happens to me quite a lot at work. If not, I guess 3 years is a long time for a mouse... but I have several (especially the one at work) older than that.

Kim, Q-tips and alcohol do a pretty good job of cleaning if you needed any suggestions. :)

Maybe you can get the Ollie family to come over and fixerate it. ;)
HaHa, very funny, silly man! ;)

Guess I gotta get a new one seeing as I had cleaned it and, restarted the computer and, it was AFTER I did those things that it stopped working! :(
