Put in the clothes, dumped in detergant

and forgot to start it. I hate when I do that. It throws the whole flow of things off. And hubby wonders why I hate doing laundry.....'cause I'm a space cadet!

I feel your pain. Laundry is the bane of my existance. We have a laundry room in the basement, I guess for me it's psychological. Thinking of hauling down the stairs, then hauling back up is just a pain in the ***. So I force myself to do it. When we lived in our apartment we had a laundry room right off the kitchen, never needed for clothes. Now that it is downstairs I will wash stuff and forget I even did it. Short term memory loss strikes again...

Ours was originally in the basement but we were able to move it to the upstairs bathroom. Best thing we ever did. Our next house will be one story though.

I would never, EVER do anything this spacey.

Instead, I forget to start the dryer at least half the time, because ours has a dial you have to set AND a button to push. I always set the dial, but forget the button. It really sucks when you go downstairs to get clothes and they're still wet and you're running late and have nothing else to wear! Not that I would know anything about that! I hate laundry, too!

I usually forget to turn on the dryer. I go to get the clothes out and they're still wet.

I hate that in the summer I will start a load & then go work outside by the time I need a refill for my water I come in change the laundry but, then you see you didn't put the darn lid down

Thats me...I dont shut the lid, so it stops mid cycle and I go back to check on it...and its full of water!!
