Pushchair Hire info please

Hi

We are going to DLP on Tuesday and have just stumbled across this forum whilst trying to find out how much it costs to hire pushchairs over there, I wish I had found you guys earlier and got some tips, its our first trip to any of the Disney resorts and we really dont know what to expect yet, I will be frantically reading all the posts on here now before we go!

Anyway my main and burning question at the moment is pushchair hire. As a rule my (very nearly) 3year old doesnt use one at all now but I think he will struggle to stay on his feet all day over there. I dont really want to lug ours over there on the trains and everything but we were told it was about 20 Euros to hire one per day - we could buy one for what it going to cost for the week! Can anyone tell me if this if fact, or how much it does cost please?

ps We are staying at the Sequioia (sp?) Lodge with the voucher thing for meals, 4 nights 5 days by Eurostar

I don't know if you have what compares to an umbrella stroller over there, but there are some people who will not take their stroller with them to travel, but hire a cab, go to a local shop, purchase a small stroller and actually leave it behind at the resort.

Sometimes the cost is the same or a little lower than renting at the parks.

Thanks so much for your reply, something I forgot to add was how big my "little" boys is!! We took our umbrella stroller away last summer when he had only just turned 2 and his feet were dragging on the floor! He wouldnt even fit in it now, he is the size of an average 4/5 yr old, around 105cm with great big size 11 feet!! I would have to take my proper Mutsy pushchair with me. I think I will just forget it and let him walk, my husband can put him on his shoulders if he gets tired, he's a big bloke too I think he will manage it !!
