What type of purse or backpack would you recommend for carrying things around DL?

I am addicted to the non fashionable fanny pack. I have a large one that has two drink holders, works great, keeps my hand free for the kid.

It's getting closer, I can't wait......

If you carry anything large(big camera or camcorder) a good backpack is what you should probably use. They can hold many snacks too.

Have fun.

I used to use a fanny pack but discovered I had so much in it that my back always ended up aching, no matter what position I wore it on my waist.

I found a great nylon draw-string back sack by Nike that has zippered pockets on the outside, that works very well.

I like to carry an over the shoulder purse. It's got places for my cards and room for my digital camera. I actually got my latest one at the disney store. I've learned that the bigger straps work better.

Personally, I don't like wearing straps across my chest. I also don't like all my personal stuff exposed in a back pack so I wear a tummy pack and love it. My hands are free and my stuff is within easy reach and in front of me so I can keep an eye on it. I can also attach my camera to it for easy access.

I used to use a fanny pack but now I use a backpack purse and love it! It has more room than the fanny pack, my hands are still free and I don't have to take it off when I go to the bathroom! Hey, every minute counts when I'm at the park!

I use a fannypack but if you plan on buying alot of souveniers i would reccomend getting a locker.

I use the fanny pack myself but if you are going to be carrying a lot of things you might want to go with a back pack. Have a great trip!

I bought a small backpack/purse at Target. (I think it's an Eddie Bauer one) It has two drink holders on the outside (ESSENTIAL!), and several little pockets for various things. I always put my wallet in the biggest pocket WAY at the bottom and when I zip that pocket, I make sure both zippers are way down to one side so that it would be difficult to unzip from behind.

It fits in all of the ride pouches and, like someone else said, you don't have to take it off to go to the bathroom! It's also big enough to hold some cheap ponchos for the wet rides and a couple of small souvenirs and snack items. I love it!

I decided to go with a sling backpack that way I have room for wallet, autograph book, camera (for water rides or rain  ), snacks, change of clothes for my daughter 3.5 and light coats if needed. thanks for all your input and help!
