Purple Monsters Inc doors?

Okay, so i just made a trade with someone for purple monsters inc doors. I had no idea that these existed. Are they rare? and where did ppl get them? Thanks

nope, they were host only prizes back in .. April? I think of last year - they are pretty rare actually. I would say they are as rare as a black candle.

thats, like, an amazing trade. Because I would trade a great deal more than that for them

they were in january 2006, monsters month. they were a host prize, but there was also the grand floridian pin as a host prize. More people took the pin because the grand cali was so hot and left the doors alone. hard to believe but the gold doors were so wanted then over the purple LOL.

You got a real good deal, they trade for quite a bit.

actually you could, but you have to remember that the majority of people in those trade rooms, dont know what the doors are either. You need to find someone who does. So if you trade patiently you will get what your looking for

just to get another confermation... are gold doors the same rarity?

I believe that there are far more gold doors than purple ones. The gold doors may have been quest, but they were given out in far more numbers than the purple doors.

Gold doors somehow became rare, and they were over loaded from the Parks, I personally had about 30 sets at one point (not any more, I traded them for other average rarity items, wish I hadnt!)
