Purple Magic Bands now an option

Just curious...why paint a new one each time? Why not just wear the same purple one on each trip?

Because the paint usually gets little cracks in it toward the end of a trip. Especially since we swim a lot.

Me too! I just received ours in the mail Friday. I won't mention that it is now available to my girls. They don't need to know that they missed purple by just a week or so. Happily I bought an extra set of tickets before the price increase so we can order purple next time.

Did the infant get a magic band? Our DD got a Magic Band in May when she was 3 months old and I can customize another one for her (13 months old now) for our trip in September. Just wanted to clarify to see if your friends got an MB for the baby but not the tag.

"Infants", or those under the age of 3, do not receive a luggage tag. We traveled in November shortly after they'd updated the luggage tags and my then 2-year-old did not receive one. I has assumed this may be the case, and called Disney beforehand. They confirmed she would not receive one with her MagicBand.

Can't wait to tell DD's best friend that she can get her fave color for their trip in the fall. I am also excited to have a new color choice for our next trip, as I have gone through all the ones I am interested in for our last two trips (both split stays, so had two each time).

1. Little ones get one even when they're too young for a ticket so that they won't feel left out because everyone else has one. (Although obviously, a baby won't care, but it's probably just easier for Disney to send one for everyone than decide on a minimum age.)

2. You only get luggage tags with a package.
