Ok, because we only take carry-ons and I usually fill the small 3oz bottles with laundry detergent & softner-this time I found the Purex 3 in 1 sheets-has anyone brought them on their carry-ons & did you have any issues...haven't tried them out yet wondered if they are moist where it would cause TSA to say "no" to them...TIA!:goodvibes

They're completely dry. I bought them for the same reason. I tried one and it works well. The fragrance is a bit strong, even on the "pure" ones that are hypoallergenic.

I did read a thread (maybe on the cruise board, I am not sure where) that said some people experience spotting from the blue part of these. I was going to get them to take on our trip also, but I was worried about this problem.

I haven't tried them, don't know anyone in person who has, so I am only repeating what I read on a thread somewhere on these boards, but I can't remember where I read it. Sorry. Just thought that maybe you should look into them a little more. I do remember that many people said they had no problems with them, but then others saying they had spots/stains.

Of course, maybe they have corrected this problem since the product has been out for awhile now.

We have used the 3 in 1 sheets many times and love them. I will say if you are doing a small wash it is not the best choice. I always put the sheets in and run the water while I get the clothes pulled by the time I put the clothes in the water has had time to desolve the detergent.

We will be using them for our upcoming trip.

I have used them since they came out and have never had a problem with the spotting. I also put them in my carryon and it has always gone well. They are very strong though. So the smell can get to you if you dont like it.

I wish another brand would make these type of sheets. The liquid purex makes me break out in a terrible rash so I do not wish to try these in case they do the same. :sad1:

I use scent free and dye free Laundry Dropps http://www.dropps.com/. They are great when traveling and (so far) I haven't had a problem getting them through security. You just toss a pack into the machine before you put your clothes in. They work with older washers and the new HE ones. We use them in Disney machines all the time w/o a problem.
Love them and they don't stink!

I don't think I will have much problem with spotting...I plan to let the water fill before I add my clothes. My biggest concern was whether or not I could have them on my carry-on. I didn't think it would be a problem-but with the security now just wasn't sure if I would be questioned on them...

I brought them in my carry-on and had no problems. I didn't notice any spots or stains on the clothes.

What type of washing machines does Disney have? I have a GE (General Electric) HE washer and to save water it has a built in sensor that senses the amount of clothes that are in the machine. In my home washer you can not load water in the machine without having clothes in the washer first so it can sense the size of the load. If Disney has upgraded to HE machines (don't know if they have) then you might not be able to fill the machine with water first.

To the best of my knowledge, they still have regular old washing machines. I haven't seen any upgrading going on.
