so today, i was talking to my grampa, and about 10 years ago, he won $3 million in the lotto, we were talking about that and he told me that he threw the ticket in the trash TWICE before he checked it and realized that he had won!

and i thought to myself--wow....that's just PURE LUCK. that's some crazy sort of divine intervention or something!

you guys have any instances like that? i'd love to hear them?
and on that topic...do you think you're lucky? (and i don't mean lucky, like blessed, i mean as in you have good lucky)

i have a friend who is SO lucky he wins everything!!

People tell me I'm lucky all the time,

I'm always finding money everywhere,
not much just maybe a dollar.

But in school our old English/Lit teacher would do something where he'd put a
bunch of numbers in a hat and he'd think of a number and whoever pulled that
number got a dollar or a piece of candy or something, no doubt I won EVERY
single time, towards the end of the semester I'd tell him to pick another number
cause it wasn't fair lol.

im usually not that lucky.
but for tec ed if you make it in before the bell you get a ticket.
i got one in one month. okay. so at the end of the month we put all our tickets in a hat and he chooses one out to be the "master techie" and everybody else had 20 tickets and i had one and i was chosen out of the box. xD
bwing master techie wasnt that great though... i just got to do whatever i wanted with the machines in tec ed for one class period. xD

I win contests.. all the time.
Usually just for small things, the most I've ever won was front row tickets to see Rex Goudie (meeting him and interviewing him too) back when he was well, still known cause of Canadian Idol.

I never win trips tho =/

i'd love that, even though i was never a huuuge rex goudie fan, it'd still be pretty neat!

my family never wins anything...i think my grampa used up all our luck when he won the lotto (not that i'm complaining!! haha)
my mom enters us in like EVERY contest where you can win a trip to WDW. hehe--we never win.
i never win anythingggg, not even the stupidest little things, not even $3 on a bingo scratch card haha.
i only won my first donut on roll up the rim last week!! haha

at winter fest last year i won the cake walk everytime i played and after i won like 7 cakes they asked me not to play anymore xD

There's a girl I know who enters a lot of contest. Just recently she won something or the other where she got to go see the Jonas Brothers 3D movie before it was released, and at the theaters the Jonas Brothers and Barbara Walters surprised everyone by showing up. They sat in the row behind her.

Then, less than a week later, she won another contest to meet the Jonas Brothers and go to another private screening of the movie. She also got to go to some after party type thing.

Then, on the trip to the 2nd private screening of the movie, she was at the mall and she met Demi Lovato in Victoria's secret.


She's also Brooks of Brooks and Dunn's niece, and she's won tons of other contests.
She's the luckiest person I know.

My friend Jenna and I won a video contest and were 20 rows away from the stage at the Jonas Brothers concert and we got to meet them.

Other than that, I never win anything.

Everytime we talk about "worst events in life" everyone talks about their dogs dying, or how they broke their arm, while i talk about having my family members die off, i NEVER see my cousin because she lives in florida and the rest of my cousins are 50..
