Can anyone help! We have been to Orlando many times & we always buy Disney Annual Passes & this time thought we would try to purchase Universal annual passes as we are going in September & again in January:banana: , but been on web site went to purchase them and it will not allow me to go any further any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

The link works with 6 months free but not the other options.
You could ring them and buy them, we have to renew every year by phone as the can't be renewed online. Don't give up though they are better value than Disney AP's IMO. We save the $100 each in discounts and parking every year(just gone upto $109.95 to renew this year, 1st increase in 5 years we have had them)

For some reason USF has started to re-direct UK visitors to the UK tickets so you are unable to buy APs & the 7 day tickts online :sad2: You used to be able to circumvent this with a direct link to the page - but no longer :confused3

Not sure why we're being discriminated against - it's a real hassle to purchase over the phone with my 'foreign' address
I have emailed them to ask why- they're usually very prompt with their responses - but I've heard nothing.

Thats what I thought it was doing so I just checked and its not, its taking you to the US page of regular tickets so even US users can't access AP page. only the summer offer page.
I emailed them months ago about the re-direct issue, totally ignored me. You can only get around it by using an anonymous proxy server so it doesn't know which country you are in but its a lot of hassle.

Tracey,

Are they still offering you the 7 day passes on the phone? And if so are they as cheap as renewing the APs? I was considering renewing one and just getting the other ticket when we go as I don't think we'll be there twice a year for a few years now.

As far as I know Graeme - yes

7 day tickets are $89.95 + tax
AP rnewal is $109.95 + tax

I think

(apologies to the mods for pressing the wrong button :rolleyes1 )

As Tracey says there is only £10.70 inc tax difference between the 2. Even if you are only going to use it for a couple of days it can be worth keeping AP's going if you might need them year after, starting again can be expensive at $200+tax.

it works with any credit card, i used my visa the other day without a problem, first payment has been taken.

No paid for them using my CC that way will only have to pay CC monthly !!!!
Thank you for all help !

I also used the monthly payment option for my Univ AP, great deal as you pay no extra and can then spread the cost over a year. I am v.happy as I got a great AP rate on our stay at PBH  and I have bought the $89.99 tickets for the rest of the family as we will def not be able to go again within 12 months.

We are Annual Pass holders but paid in full at the time of purchase, hope to get 2 holidays out them over the next 2 years at Easter.

If you pay monthly and you do not wish to renew you will need to let them know, otherwise they will auto-renew and you will continue to pay costs.

"Flexible Payment Annual Passes automatically renew at the end of the 12 month billing period. After the initial 12 month term, monthly payments are subject to change. You must submit written notification 30 days prior to the end of your contract in order to cancel the automatic renewal. If you do not, we will continue your membership by billing you on a month to month basis"

Thanks for that, have made a note to cancel.
If i do cancel the automatic payment willi be able to renew the pass within 30 days in order to get the renewal rate, of couse i would then have to pay in full at the time.

Sorry you would cancel and then renew?

i assume if they carry on the payment past the 12 months they would charge you as if it was a new pass ie not a renewal price. My understanding is that the normal renewal price is a lot cheaper.
So i would cancel then renew at the cheaper price....does that sound possible.

I understand what you mean now and yes renewal price is around $100, however to be honest I am not certain. As we paid in full for ours.
I would contact Universal personally.

Thanks, will probably just cancel next june and then contact them to see what they say, maybe there next june anyway so can sort it out there.
