I know alot of brides on these boards purchase their tiaras through different internet sites. Does anyone have any recommendations for a site that has good quality tiaras and hair pins? I will be wearing an Alfred Angelo dress in white with claret accents and I would love a tiara with clear crystals, pearls and red crystals in it. I saw one in my bridal shop that was close to 300.00 and I didn't really like it. The ones on the internet run from 20.00 to hundreds of dollars. How can you tell if you are getting a good one or one that when you get it it looks like a childs dress up tiara. There are alot on ebay also that run maybe 15.00 and I can't believe for that price they are really nice looking in person.

Thanks,
Linda

I made my own as I couldnt find one I loved in my price range.

I made it out of pink and clear swavorski crystals, I love it and have had so many comments on it when i show people

I have seen them on ebay, I just don't know about the quality. I saw three that I liked with red accents. They were in the 10.00 to 25.00 range. I want to make sure they look nice. The one at my bridal shop was close to 300.00 and there is a small shop in my local mall where they sells the crystal ones for about 100.00.

At the 10.00 price I guess I should just order one and see how it looks. Of course they are nonreturnable but I guess if I don't like it I could always turn around and resell it.

I purchased mine from veilshop.com. I purchased my veil there for only $100 when it probably would have sold for $300 at a bridal shop. I was impressed and decided to get my tiara there too. They have a wide price range and variety. Mine was $80 and I'm very pleased with the quality. The crystals look nice and bright and the metal looks like a high quality. They even ship it in a bag to keep it from tarnishing. So I would say check it out, they even have multiple views and closeups so it is easy to see what you are getting. I picked mine hoping it would match a jewelry set I already had and it was perfect.

PrincessJewel - I just checked out their website and the tiaras are absolutely beautiful - each one I look at is better then the next. Unfortunately, the ones with color in them do not come in the color I need. There is one with red in it but it is in a gold tone tiara and I need silver. I will definately keep checking their website though.

Thanks,
Linda

I too am in search of a tiara so I decided to subscribe to this thread. I'll have to check out the website I'm looking for a tiara with blue crystals in it.

Have a great weekend!

HAHA I just noticed if you look in the middle of the tiara near the bottom I have a little hidden mickey

Have anyone tried princessbridetiaras .com? I was thinking of ordering from there since they have so many gorgeous ones to choose from (with color and without, and all different options in between!). I just can't speak for the quality since I have no personal experience with them.

Of course, I was roped in when they had a category for "Cinderella" tiaras! :lmao:
