Purchasing park tickets

Hi,
When staying on disney property what type of park tickets do you purchase???And why???Where do you buy them from???

As of January 2, 2005, the only tickets available are the Magic Your Way passes and Annual Passes. The MYW passes are completely customized for the user. You buy the number of days you want, decide if you want Park Hopping as a feature, access to the "Plus" parks (waterparks, Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest) and even whether you want an indefinite expiration date on the passes.
