Purchasing MVMCP tickets??

We'll be doing MVMCP again this year but usually buy our tickets in advance. This time we are going to buy them the day of (11/28) to get the AP discount and save a couple bucks. My question is can you buy MVMCP tickets at the front desk of the resorts or do you have to go to the park to buy them? Thanks for any help!!

I'm fairly sure that you can purchast them at any Disney hotel front desk. However, I have no idea if can buy them with the AP discount at the front desk. In order to obtain the AP discount, I think you have to buy the tickets at least a day in advance.

I checked the AP site and it does say that in order to receive the annual passholder discount, you have to purchase the tickets in advance (doesn't indicate how far in advance you need to buy them).

That's great to know! I was under the impression that you had to wait until the day of to purchase the tickets to get the discount. Thanks for the heads up! I wonder if I need to order them or could wait until we go to MK the day before to buy them?

There is the chance that they could sell out of their allotment of the AP discounted tickets. I don't know if they limit the number of discounted passes that they sell for each party. You could go ahead and order them - then you would be sure that you have them. You can request to pick up the tickets at the Magic Kingdom will call window saving you the $3 shipping fee. You can then pick the tickets up the day of the party if this is more convenient with your schedule.

I was a little confused because after I purchased four tickets I noticed something about only one discounted ticket per passholder?? I got four discounted tickets but only have one AP. I'm not sure if I read it wrong or what. Anyways, enough of my rambling . Thanks again!

Passholder Tickets to MVMCP are treated the same as your Annual Pass for entrance to the parks. One discounted pass per passholder.

I was hoping to pick up our tickets at Guest Services in DTD the day before.

I know that there is a guest services window to the right of the Maigc Kingdom main entrance. I would think that you could pick-up the tickets there. I have no idea about the TTC. Maybe someone else on the boards will know. If you order tickets on the AP site, I think you can order up to four tickets per pass.

Thanks for the responses! I guess we'll just try to get in with the passes and see what happens. Hopefully we won't have to buy tickets again at the gate just to get in! That'll be an expensive MVMCP! But I'd understand completely if we're only allowed one discounted pass per AP. We'll probably pick them up at the Guest Relations @ MK the day before since we'll be there anyways. Thanks for all of the help!!
