Purchasing Magicbands on MDE question

I want to purchase magicbands for our Jan trip on MDE. When I went to purchase them, it was not giving me the option to use a Disney gift card. Is that not possible?

I just ordered some last week (bands were the only thing in my order) and I paid for them with 5 Disney gift cards.

ETA, I just noticed you said through MDE, not the ShopDisney site, but when I went into my MDE, it takes me there to order them anyway, so if there is another way to order right through MDE, then my info is irrelevant
