We will be staying at the AKL and I have a question about purchasing items at the parks and having them charge it to my room. Is this possible? I seem to remember when we visited a few years back that we used our park tickets to purchase things and it was just added to the room. Does this sound right, or am I crazy? I may be confused about them just SENDING the stuff to our room, but maybe we actually paid for it at the stores. Now I don't know! ha! Okay, I guess my question is, is there a way to purchase items at the parks and have all the charges go to the resort, so when you check out at the end of your trip everything...meals, souvenirs and the room... are all on one bill? Now that I've actually asked the question, it doesn't sound realistic...but I'll ask anyway. Thanks for any help. Oh, and if it makes any difference, last time we visited we had a package with the resort and park tickets included. This time we have annual passes and the resort is separate.

One of the advantages of staying in a Disney resort is that your room key (card) is also good for charging AND the shops will send your packages back to the hotel. They stopped delivering packages to the rooms, now you pick them up in the resort gift shop at the hotel. Room key can also charge in restaurants. And if you didn't have annual passes you could have your tickets on your room key, too. The Mouse is efficient!
