Purchasing DVC

I have been speaking with Celeste from DVC and just wonder if ever salesperson is different or do they all offer the same thing.
i.e. a car salesperson may offer one deal but if I come back and speak to another, I would most likely get another offer.

Are the points a set price or is that negotiable. Is anything negotiable?

Nope it is all the same, no negotiating. Just make sure you know and understand about any deals they are offering such as $5 off per point, etc.

Well, they are all different in their personalities, what they'll tell you about DVC (some provide more information, others might omit or gloss over things that you might not realize is really important), but they all basically work within the same rules. Disney sets the price, Disney sets the downpayment, Disney sets the interest rate (if you finance through them), and Disney decides what 'specials' the may be running.

As far as I can tell, unless you have an issue with Celeste or have to have an answer or some other issue resolved immediately when Celeste isn't around, Celeste is your assigned 'salesperson' and will handle the bulk of your work with purchasing.

My advice to you would be to ask any questions you have both to Celeste AND here, as well as read the threads throughout the board.

I have no problems at all with Celeste....she has been most helpful. I just wanted to make sure I was getting the best possible deal I could.
Has anyone ever dealt with her before?

One of the good things about DVC from a sales standpoint is that what you see is what you get. Unlike that new car you don't have to worry that someone else got a better deal.

The one possible "deal" your DVC rep won't tell you about is that you MAY be able to save money buying a resale contract.
