Purchasing DVC Points!

I rented points before purchasing dvc. I had already done a lot of reading, and was pretty certain I was going to buy, but decided I would go ahead and stay on rented points just in case. I wanted to see how the rooms were compared to non dvc rooms, and just get a feel for how everything worked. I was glad I did, as I then knew I was going to be happy with a purchase.
I financed half of my purchase with a very low rate line of credit, and feel that the low rate made it justifiable even if I didn't pay it off as fast as originally planned.

We paid for ours flat out. Had a credit card with a high enough balance. We did a balance transfer to our bank account since it was 24 months no interest. Then purchased it that way. So we aren't paying any interest on our purchase at all.
