purchasing DVC - payment options

Wondering if I could purchase a resale contract using my Disney Visa & then pay it off when the bill comes? I'd love to be able to rack up the points!

You can use that with Disney directly when buying from them, but I'm not sure that the resale brokers will accept that, I think they want a check.

Most brokers will only accept a certified check as they need to pay the seller so to protect themselves against fraud...
If they did accept a credit card they will need to pay a fee and that can be high sometimes close to 4% with a small buisness and a premium rewards card like the Disney Visa...

I am purchasing resale through GMAC and they will take a credit card.

Good tip! I will definitely look into this. I am perfectly willing to move things around a bit if it means I can accrue reward dollars!

I just got a contract today through Timeshare and they do not accept credit cards (I was going to do the same thing).
