Purchasing child tickets for California resident what proof do we need?

What proof is required to show that my 9-year-old niece is a California resident before buying my tickets? I have a DL and so does my daughter so it would just be my niece. Maybe a report card or something?

None. You certify that she is a California resident when you buy online (no submitting proof, just a checkbox). That is all that is required.

Following- I would certainly imagine that your 9 year old niece will not have to show any documentation though...

as brentm77 said, you wont need any proof. You wont even need to prove yourself. Just check the box when you buy the tickets is all you have to do.

No documents required for me (the adult) or the child at any point in our trip (we are CA residents).

The only ID I brought was child’s Global Entry card just in case, but even TSA doesn’t require ID and that ID doesn’t prove residency.
