I know you can rent a stroller there, but if you wanted to bring one from home, where can you buy a relatively inexpensive stroller for a 4 1/2 yr old who is a pretty tall one. She is about 43 inches; 40 lbs. I'd like something easy to carry around, has some storage, and is $50 or less.

Thanks for your help!

my graco is an older version of the one i posted from walmart we used it in july w/ dd3 and aug w/ dd6l. When we were there in dec we use the stroller that my mil has at her house for when dd3 is there and my dd6 is not crazy about it but it served its purpose but it doesn't fully recline and she sits higher than the back.

you can only put one drink in the cupholder up top I use avent bottles and sippy cups i can't even put up top for my dd3 and so I don't really recommend this stroller but it is a little cheaper than graco.
This is a pic of my dd6 in dec.

Thank you very much for all the links. I will check those out. Thanks again!

I have one very similar to the last one in the last post- the Kolcraft from K-mart-I got a Babytrend at B-R-Us for about the same amount.
Took it to Epcot first day and one of the wheels fell off- ending up renting a stroller. I don't know if it was due to the weight of my 40 pound son, or if it was just old. . . .I wanted to just pitch the thing, but my DH brought it home so we could see if it could be fixed.
However, I am glad he made me bring it home. I emailed Babytrend and they sent a replacement part FREE, totally free, no shipping, nothing. Just because I sent them an email that the wheel had come off.
Now the wheel is back on, and it is being used again.
So the customer service alone makes me recommend the babytrend stroller.:)

I have found with my 36 lb son that the strollers mentioned above were great except they are so hard to push due to him being at the weight limit. I loved them when he was lighter but had to go with a new one the past 3 trips. If you don't mind one that is a bit hard to push then we had a Sesames Street one from Kmart and another from Target, both pictured as above. Unfortunately it doesn't fit in the under $50 catagory.

We're going to Disney on 4/18/07 and I just ordered my 3 1/2 year old son a Chicco caddy stroller for $29.95 PLUS shipping came to $40.71 from Right Start. It only weighs 11lbs and has carrying bag and strap. Check it out! Plus its in Disney red!

I have a very tall 2.5 yr old (40" herself). I have a Peg Perego that is FANTASTIC!!!! I got mine on used Craig's List. This is the only stroller that is full size and folds to umbrella size that she will fit in that I have found. Good luck!

Carolinesmom,

Can you tell me what type of stroller the Peg Perego was? Style, etc?

We went to Target this weekend and they did not have anything on the floor that fit her. We want an umbrella type and the ones they had there were too small.

Thanks.

Mine is a Peg Perego Pliko Matic. It is an older one. You can find them on Craigs List and on eBay for the money you want to spend. It has great storage underneath too. BTW, they are full size strollers that fold up to an umbrella size. Good luck!
