Purchasing a new AP for Nov trip, will I be able to select FP+?

There must be a way to do this... last time I went my AP was valid so just linked it to MDE. I think I can choose FP's in Sept for our November trip, but do I have to have an active AP first? I do not want to lose 2 months of the AP just to schedule FP's. I usually buy my AP at guest services on the first day of vacation. Can I buy a voucher online now, set my FP's in Sept but not actually activate the AP until Nov? Thanks for any help

I called and bought my DVC AP last week for our October trip.
I have it as a "Will Call" which I will pick up at Guest Services when we arrive. That will be the activation date - in October, not now.
But I have an AP Confirmation Number that I was able to link to my tickets in MDE. I believe I am all set

Yes, buy it on-line (and get the voucher) and then activate in Nov. when you are there. Link your voucher to your MDE site, and you will then be good to start FP+ with the early booking dates.

This what I just did--as I got the DVC PAP voucher just a couple months ago, and linked it to my MDE site.

Yes, you buy the voucher now, but the 'clock' will not start until you activate it in Nov when you are there. As for the PAP, the DVC had a killer deal a couple months ago, whereby you got a PAP for less than the price of regular AP. I think that deal has expired though, as I think you had to buy it before the end of April. I would call Member Services just to be sure there are no similar deals--or to check to see if that deal got extended.
