Purchasing a balloon with gift cards

What is the current required method for buying a balloon? Is it still cash only, or can a gift card be used? What about paying with a magic band?

I believe that some balloon vendors can except cards. But if not, members on here have said you can go to nearest gift shop, pay for the balloon, then bring the receipt to get the balloon
