Purchased DVC in March 2016

We recently purchased resale and closed at SSR in March 2016. What do I need to know. I heard that we can only do the Disney vacation club resorts and RCI. Is that correct?

That is pretty much correct, no cruising, no Disney Collection, no Adventures By Disney, no Concierge Collection.
If you closed in March that means you got in under the wire for the new restrictions imposed 4/4. You will still be able to access special events and get APs with the DVC discount. And you will get a members card.
