Purchase AP at the Disney Store

So I was in my local Disney Store yesterday and knew that they sold tickets but I was also informed that they sell the AP voucher that is more like plastic room keys than the piece of paper I've heard Disney gives you if you purchase the AP directly at the parks. Has anyone done this? Is it any more expensive doing it through DS than at WDW? I'll be purchasing an AP close to Nov and I'd like something that feels real rather than something like the regular tickets Disney sells. Thanks!

But what you will get is only an exchange certificate. When you go to any ticket or Guest Relations window at WDW is when you get your actual AP; the certificate is full payment.

I knew that we receive a "voucher" for the AP, I was just told by the CM that it would be an actual card for the AP vs being given a separate "paper" ticket. Oh well! Thanks for the info.

An AP has to have the name and expiration date printed on it, so it will be on the Tyvek cards.
