Punta Langosta Pier Returns to Partial Service
By the end of July the outer band of the Punta Langosta Cruise Ship Pier should be ready to receive ships. This will be the second pier to return to operation on Cozumel. The pier should be totally repaired by next November when all three mooring sections will be operational. The base slabs and aprons will be reinforced with a mixture of concrete and a zinc alloy and the columns with steel in order to withstand future hurricanes.
