Pumpkins!

I tried some in the Garden Grill, Epcot last December. They brought us an individual pumpkin cheesecake each that looked really delicious but I'm afraid I hated the taste!

So do you like it, never tried it or do you just stick to scooping the inners out?

I will echo exactly what Jetmom said, except the roasted part About a year ago Barnes and Nobel had this very creamy pumpkin cheescake that was sooo good. I am not a cheesecake fan but this was delicious. I think it is seasonal, so I will have to see if they have it again around the holidays.

My DH makes a delicious pumpkin cheesecake. I love it. I also like pumpkin pie, esp. with LOTS of whipped cream.

Yummy! I love pumpkin. I like pumpkin desserts and I also like stuffed pumpkin for dinner. Oh yeah, I almost forgot pumpkin seeds... mmm.

I’ve never heard of it roasted before, but I like seeds, pie, bread (esp. with chocolate chips!), cheesecake and soup (pumpkin-apple).

I have to say it depends on how it is prepared. Here in Italy cooking with pumpkin is popular, my favorite is pumpkin ravioli. My least favorite is pumpkin soup, just didn't care for the taste.

I love pumkin anything, I have had pumkin ravioli. I have to run out and but my pumkin Yankee candle. Pumkin all the way, has a nice mellow flavor

How do you cook it if you don't roast it then? Do you boil/bake it until tender?

I LOVE pumpkin. Last year the DQ had a pumpkin Blizzard. YUMMY! Wonder if they will have it again this year? Was it October or Novemeber? Hmmm. I really want some pumpkin pie now.

Just LOVE pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies and my favorite is my homemade pumpkin soup (it is very rich and creamy and lots of calories, but hey I usually only make it for Thanksgiving, so why not, LOL)

Oooohh. I like Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Bread and Pumpkin Cheesecake! I don't think I've tried making any from fresh pumpkin, always used the canned kind.
