With Halloween fast approaching I thought now would be a good time to officially open the competition
Although we are all a nice honest bunch on here I thought we should have a couple of rules just to ensure fair play.
Photos submitted must have the entrant in it with their pumpkin - this is to make sure that a picture hasn't just been downloaded from net and claimed as your own
Closing date for entries will be 2nd November
There will be 3 categories.
1. Best Disney Pumpkin
2. Best Non-Disney Pumpkin
3. Most Original Pumpkin
When posting your photo please ensure you state what category you are submitting it for.
Once all the entries are in I will set up a poll and people will then have 3-4 days to cast their vote.
If anyone else can think of anything else to add to the rules etc then please feel free to mention it on this thread.
For those of you that are new to pumpkin carving there are lots of really cool sites out there that will give you all the hints and tips you need to create some amazing lanterns. Our favourite site is Zombie Pumpkins and you can find it HERE
They have some great designs, hints, tips and galleries of ones they have done - they do charge a small fee to download the patterns but this does entitle you to unlimited downloads of as many patterns as you can print
I am looking forward to seeing what you can all come up with
