Pull out Sofas at BC Villas

I read throgh several reviews of the Bech Club Villas that the pull out sofas were really uncomfortable. I also read somewhere (I spend too much time on this) that some of these were being replaced at the DVC resorts. Does anyone have any info about replacement of the pull-outs at any of the resorts and the BC Vilas in particular? Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Our 2 BR BCV villa in May had the new style sofas in both the LR and 2nd BR. They appear to be very comfortable. No middle bar.

Almost everyone is reporting the new style although one poster recently had the old style. I wonder if that room was overlooked?

We've stayed there a few times, and yes the middle bar got uncomfortable. Luckily, I got the idea one night to place one of the square decorative sofa pillows (small 9"x9"?) between the bar and matress. It fixed the issue perfectly and I slept like a baby!

Glad to hear the one with the bar are gone or going away. Just one of a million reasons we love the BCV!

When I was there last February, they replaced the sofabed the second day of my stay. It looked like they were doing them a little bit at a time, instead of shutting down a section and doing it all at once. I would think they should be close to finished by now. They had also put a new mattress on the bed and boy was it comfortable!

We were there in April and the new sofa beds were very comfortable and much easier - all the cushions stay attached so you don't have to store them anywhere. A great improvement!!!
