pudding shot recipes

I have a huge party this weekend and I would like to make pudding shots.. does anyone have any good recipes?

I didn't know you could make pudding shots. I know you can make jello shots, just substitute your favorite alcoholic beverage for the water but since pudding is make with milk, I don't know if that works.

I have never heard of this! (Note to self: Get out more!) Is it like a Jello shot?

Wouldn't pudding need to have a dairy based liquid product? Wouldn't it taste runny?

Would something like Kahlua work?

Oh it works and they are yummy......

I know they us pudding mix and either milk or cool whip and liquor and then freeze them but I am trying to find what mixes go well..

so far I have chocolate pudding and mint liquor...and chocolate and kalhau

Do you mean an alcoholic pudding shot, or those individual sized desserts (like the kind at Applebee's)?

So you have the pudding already made and then you add the spiked cool whip-stir and serve?

Now that sounds good!

I was visioning a box of pudding (not premade) and using the alcohol as the "milk".
A Bailey's Irish cream or an Amaretto would work as well.

here is a recipe that I am thinking of using


* 1- pkg instant Vanilla pudding mix
* 1 cup milk
* 1/2 cup Absolute orange Vodka
* 1/8 cup Frangelico
* 8 oz pkg Extra creamy Cool Whip
Mix pudding and milk until creamy, add Vodka and Frangelico until more creamy, add cool whip until super creamy. Put into 1 oz cups and freeze at least 24hrs and keep frozen until you serve and enjoy.

I am going to put them in the tiny plastic cups that have covers..and make stickers on them so they know they are alcohol in them. I might make no alcohol version for the kids

I will have to try this. I've only had jello-shots but am not a huge fan of jello. I do love me some chocolate pudding, though.

What about vanilla pudding and raspberry vodka, like berries and cream?

vanilla or white chocolate pudding + any fruit flavor liquer or godiva liquer

I didn't know you could do this with pudding, I knew about jell-o shots though. In fact they make pina colada, daqauri, and margarita flavored jell-o now that make wonderful shots.

I'd vote for butterscotch pudding with butterscotch schnapps. A dessert version of the famous shot! Or how about strawberry pudding with Godiva liqueur.. yummmm.

What about vanilla pudding with either peach schnapps or the lemon liquer stuff (I can't for the life of me think of the name of it....) Or choclate pudding with frangelico

Yes. You can do pudding shots. I've had them before.

You still need to use milk for the basic recipe.
I don't have any recipes at work. But I got several off of the internet a couple years ago. Try doing a search for them.

I don't think it would be a drink as much as a dessert.

Wow I'm feeling my age. I've never heard of "pudding" shots . I've heard and done jello shots but that was long before I discovered Patron, Tequila shots

they came out very yummy..( they are definitely better frozen) the chocolate and Bailey's was more like a Wendy's frosty with a kick. the vanilla and orange liquor was nice but had a kinda strong alcohol taste but it was still yummy

When I first saw this thread, I though that pudding shots sounded just gross. But after seeing some of the recipes, especially chocolate & Bailey's...yummmmmmm.
