Pudding Anyone?

We just aren't a pudding house....My husband & 2 kids enjoy chocolate pudding once in awhile & prefer it if I make a chocolate pudding pie but other than that I don't think I've ever even bought another flavor :confused3 We just don't like pudding :confused3

Do you like Pudding & whats your flavor of choice?
:wave2:

Pistachio...mmmmmmm!!!!!!!! I also love Butterscotch...now I want Pudding, THANKS!
:wave2:

Depending on my mood it would be chocolate or banana.

Of course the french vanilla is good too

And the butterscotch

Dang why can't they make a multi pack with all of those flavors in it.

Oh and it has to be one of those snack pak types or the just add milk. I have no time for the cooking type.
:wave2:

I like pudding. But I get the snack packs. I can hide them
If I make puddin and put in the fridge someone will eat on me
:wave2:

Landliebe Schokolade

Danon Chocolat Noir

I can't eat dairy in America which is probably a good thing so I only have a pudding fix a few times a year... but those are gooooooood.

Chocolate of course! :)
:wave2:

My mom makes these awesome cookies with pistachio pudding and mini chocolate chips. They never lasted long in my house.

In the paper today were coupons for single serve pudding snacks. Just mix with milk I think and you got the perfect serving of pudding. I should have clipped that coupon.

I LOVE chocolate cooked pudding. Instant...yuck. Snack pack..only in a pinch, and even then I have to warm it in the microwave. I make the cooked kind in the microwave, it's faster than the stovetop version. With equal amounts of whipped cream, I can eat 1/2 prepared box by myself.

Eggnog Pudding

2 cups cold milk
1 package (3.4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 tsp. rum extract

In a bowl combine all ingerdients. Beat for 2 minutes with an electric mixer. Spoon into individual dishes. Chill till set.

Sprinkle with additional nutmeg if desired.

Makes 4 servings

Yummy - and so easy! :)

THANKS, from a huge eggnog fan!

CHOCOLATE!!!!!

Particularly, Royal Dark and Sweet, Cook and Serve. This is very hard to find and I order it online by the case. Recently I was watching the food network and learned a recipe for pudding that is very easy.

1/2 cup of cocoa powder. ( I use a mix of regular and extra dark, to get that dark chocolate flavor)

1/2 cup of sugar. ( For a slightly sweeter pudding use a little extra)

2 tbsps corn starch.

Sift together into a small saucepan.

Over a medium heat whisk in 2 cups whole milk. For a creamier pudding I use half milk, half heavy cream.

Stir constantly over medium heat until thick. In a separate cup beat one egg. Add a small amount of the hot chocolate mixture into the egg to temper it, then add the egg to the chocolate pudding. Stir over a low heat until it becomes thick and pudding like.

Refrigerate until set.

The last time I made it I also added a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the pudding right at the end, and it was fantastic!!

yummmmm!!!!!

I like the skin that forms when cooking it on the stove!!!!

I'm the only sweet eater in the house- so when I make something- I have to be prepared to eat it all by myself! :goodvibes

another one!! Figures I would find y'all over here on a food thread! I think I'm going to go see if I can find something chocolate..too late to make pudding, maybe some ice cream, like Dove's unconditional chocolate. That should flush out one more that I know of!

:wave2: to all of you too!

oooh, I forgot about rice pudding.... mmmmmmmmmmmm

LOOOOOOOOOVE just cooked, warm, vanilla pudding...:cloud9:
Chocolate is pretty good too but again, it has to be the COOKED kind and must be still warm. Homemade is even better...:goodvibes

I absolutely hate pudding.
However, I started this proteine diet, so I eat protein "puddings" twice a day. Vanilla is the only taste I can handle, and only if it's ice cold, because then you taste it less.

I'm still amazed there is pudding that needs to be cooked

:wave2: Butterscotch. I'll eat it any way it's fixed - as long as it's fixed by someone else. ;)

I don't like pudding.

agnes!
PS - This dislike does not extend to creme brulee/flan, tapioca or rice pudding :teeth:.

Oh, yes, I hate pudding but I love creme brulee. And the custard-thing we use in bakery school in our baked items, yummie!

How did I miss this thread:cheer2: Yum!

I am boring though, it is only vanilla and chocolate for me, and I am lazy so snack packs for me.

Darn I just got back from the store and know I want pudding!!!!!
