Hi all I apologise in advance if this is not a great topic on this forum but can any point me in the right direction to any pubs that may be showing the Champions league final in Kissimmee?

Only 14 Days till I go so excited :)

Not sure if they are all still trading but found a few listed with a Google search
Harry Ramsbottom's
5260 W Irlo Bronson Memorial
Kissimmee, FL 34746

Fawlty Towers Tavern (Kissimmee, FL)
4531 W Irlo Bronson Highway
Kissimmee, FL 34746

This one looks to be further on hwy192/hwy27 junction area http://www.devenneyspub.com/

Never watched sport in Florida, I once passed a pub many years ago on Idrive when a Leeds game was on, they wanted $10pp just to enter, that seems the norm over there. We would have gone in for a few drinks and watched the game but no way was I paying $30 to get us in first.

Thanks Wayneg I also looked at Google search but there isn't that much info to confirm if there still there, not overly fussed about paying and i've got to convince the rest of the group to have a rest day to watch it :sad2:

You could try:

Miller's Orlando Ale House or Buffalo Wings Sports Bar :confused3 both at the Formosa Gardens end of the 192. Not sure if the Fawlty Towers place is still open, drove past there a few times but can't recall. Isn't there another 'English Pub' type place on the 192 :confused3 I'm sure I remember seeing one?

Best to check first but DH was glued to a match that was on at Miller's, couldn't tell you if it was live or not so perhaps worth a phone call/email first.....

HTH,

Ali :goodvibes

Couldn't imagine ever taking a day out of a Orlando holiday to watch sports myself, but maybe Wide World of Sports may be showing it? It's just off the 192 so nice an easy to get to :)

I know you asked for Kissimmee so feel free to ignore but how about George and Dragon on I drive and then those in your party who don't want to join you could maybe go for a walk down I drive, play some crazy golf or go to Wet 'n Wild?

You could probably email them and ask if they will be showing it? :)

I'll be trying to find somewhere on the 30th for United vs City so will report back with my findings next week.

Same here, I watch way too much at home, holidays are to get away from it. This year our dates are perfect, we leave before the olympics start and land home the day of the closing ceremony, planned to perfection.:goodvibes

I would have been same when I was younger.
This year there is chance of me missing a cup final my local rugby team could be in, I have watched them about 30 years but I have no interest in seeking the game on TV while over there, I will try get updates on twitter(if we reach the final)

ESPN sports bar that the boardwalk will be showing it

First thing I do when I get over there is find all the sports channels. Drives the rest of the family mad except my dad. Dont mind what sport, as long as theres something. One problem I've found with the US is the difficulty in putting any bets on, tho WIFI has sorted that when I can find it.

be careful betting online in some states in the usa(if not all) is illegal. As the directors off PartyGaming can testify to

Wasn't Ken Bates' pub was it by any chance?!!! :rotfl:

I dont think my OH would dare ask me that question :rotfl2:

Good luck though, maybe try ringing to see of these places are playing it? Or is there a pay per view option?
