I am aware of garden grocer and wegoshop but has anyone had publix deliver groceries directly? I just spoke with them on the phone and they offer the service for $30 delivery +10% of total bill. We are actually staying offsite but I just wondered if anyone had experience with this and how it compares to the others.

Is that a minimum $30 order total + 10% of the total bill as the delivery charge?

Not sure that they would get alot of takers as this seems much more expensive than Garden Grocer to me??

That would make more sense to me. The other would price them out I think.

That's what I was thinking, too. Also OP, how do you place the order? I can't find anywhere on their website to do so. :confused3

It is 30 dollars for the delivery fee plus 10 percent of the total bill, that is what you pay above the price of the groceries themselves. For example a $100 would cost you $140 total. I just called the number to Publix and they offered the information to me

That's high for delivery. :scared1: GG only charges $12 above and beyond the order total, minimum order of $40.

For that kind of money, I'd take a cab to the nearest Publix and shop my self.... Even the other delivery services are too high and so are their minimums......

We do a car service and they include a grocery stop... We stop at a Publix with an ABC store next door, we're in and out in 20 minutes and most of that is spent in the deli ....

Garden grocer has high prices to start so their delivery is covered (like milk for almost $5/gal). Wegoshop seems to be comparable to the public delivery

For a $30 plus 10% fee I would RENT a car for the day and shop for myself.

Actually if I were staying offsite I would have that rental car anyway. Actually I have a rental car no matter what, LOL. Partially so I can go to Publix (and Whole Foods) and get what I want when I want it! :)

I guess I would rather not waste time on vacation shopping,. I'm willing to pay a little bit more for that convenience
