Publix Delivery (Groceries and Alcohol) Question

I've seen plenty of posts about Garden Grocer, but looking at the Publix site, it appears they will delivery both groceries and alcohol, and that you can pre-arrange for a dedicated delivery window. Interested in experiences ... a few questions I had:

1) How long does it typically take Publix to deliver ? Will they meet the delivery window ? If we have a car, is it faster to stop and do curbside pickup on way in and if so, how long is that wait ? We've got plans on Arrival day and plane isn't landing until 1pm, so we're trying to maximize our time.

2) Has anyone ever ordered wine from them ? Any issues with the order (such as vintages not matching up with the website) ? We may order a half case or so for the whole trip. Will they deliver that as well (assume have to meet them and provide ID / proof of age on delivery).

I’ve never had publix but I’ve used garden Grover loads. We’ve had to provide a copy of our ID for alcohol. Never had an issue with incorrect items.
Just a heads up there is now a fee to pay for resort delivered items like this I think it’s $6 or more.

Thanks. We're actually offsite renting a house this trip, but did not get a response in that forum - I figured the specifics of ordering would be the same, even if delivery destination is different (a nearby gated community, rather than a resort)

If you are staying offsite I would recommend giving them a slot plenty of time out from your planned arrival that way you won’t miss the delivery. If you are renting a car then it’s probably better to do the kerb side pickup option that way you can check it there make sure it’s correct. That way you just factor in the time to stop and collect your stuff.
Forgot to say for the ID I had to email them a copy of it.

I ordered from Publix on my trip last month, and it was delivered in a little over an hour. I didn't order any wine, so not sure about that. I would not hesitate to order from them again, it was easy and quick.
