My girlfriend and I are staying on International Drive and so that we can save a little money and enjoy a drink or two at night have decided not to hire a car.

How easy is it to use public transport to get to the theme parks from I-drive?

On our trip to Orlando we found Lynx Very rider friendly!! Of course you may have to wait for a transfer bus, but it's not all that bad. What you save in $$ and cost to ride the Lynx you could enjoy another night
Email Lynx site to get the actual routes for your theme park trip from your hotel. They will give you the routes and the times. You will go to the TTC and board Disney transportation from there.

We used LYNX and found them great. The buses were modern and clean and the drivers and passengers were very helpful!

Buses also ran on a very set schedule so we knew when we could get to places.

We used LYNX to get from the airport to Disney's TTC and then took park buses to our resort(PopCentury). It worked very well and saved us a fortune!
