Public or Private?

Public, I went to public school as well.

My DH and I attended 12 years of Catholic school. Then he graduated from Temple Univ.

Our DD (17) attended private, Christian schools until 5th grade, when she went to a public middle school.

Now she attends a public HS, but it is a magnet school, so she is in the medical program there.

Private, the public schools in my area are terrible.

DS5..... Private for Nursery and Pre-School...... Attending public Kindergarten in the Fall.

DS2.75 (2 in September) attending Private Nursery School in the Fall.

I went to private Catholic school my whole educational career up to this point. I'm going to a Jesuit college, but that's going to change in the spring because they cancelled my major and I have to transfer I'm the only one of 3 kids that went to Catholic school for so long - my DB went to Catholic school from k-2 and then for high school and college. My sister went to public school from k-12 and is heading to UCONN in the fall.
DH spent a year in private baptist school in the 8th grade. Other than that, he's gone to public school.

Now this is going to be a challenge for DH and I when we have kids.
I want to send our kids to private school- at least through elementary school. Our public schools around here are great - I just had such a positive experience with private schools that I would want to same for my children. DH wants our kids to go to public schools.

The public schools that I attended until high school graduation are excellent. I'm going off to a private university though, but I hadn't even thought twice about that until you guys mentioned it.

I went to Catholic schools K-12, as did DH.

We are sending our kids to public school. The public elementary school here is excellent, we will evaulate again when they enter middle school.
