Public able to reserve at HHI & VB

I have a good friend of mine here and we have been talking about vacations - good, bad, and in between. The topic turned to future vacations, and we started talking about DVC. She had a question that I wasn't sure about the answer to, but I knew where to come!

Can the general public book stays at HHI & VB? The no brain answer seems to be "yes", but then I started thinking (maybe too much...). Anyone know for sure?

Yes - subject to availability (isn't everything? LOL), the general public may book accomodations at all the DVC resorts, including VB and HHI.

To do so, you may call the resort directly or call CRO/WDWTC.

The DVC almost always have some units available to the general public for cash - when DVC members use their points to book some of the non-DVC options, DVC arranges to rent the equivalent number of DVC room nights to the general public for cash. The cash is used to pay for the DVC members' non-DVC choices.
