Hello, my name is Katie and I'm a lurker but... after 2 years of reading everyone's TR's I'm finally in on my own!
So where do I start...well I guess at the cast, huh? There isnt much too it but here goes:
Me (29) Loved Disney as a child and early teens. Collected just about anything with Mickey on it but had only been to WDW once when I was 9. My family was not into big vacations and I grew up in Michigan so WDW was definitely not close enough. Then late teens and early 20's I forgot how much I love Disney (*gasp, can you imagine
). Until I got engaged and remembered my childhood dream of a honeymoon at WDW. It was so much fun but I felt we missed out a lot. Boy was I right. We both shed a few tears on our last night and promised to come back at least every other year. Within a few months of returning I found the Dis..and the rest is history!
Louise (26) Not her real name but more on that later The very best friend a girl could ask for. Incredibly loyal, great listener, contagious laugh and has known to get me in trouble with a few glasses of wine. Doesnt know much about WDW and her 1st trip is going to be a whirl wind. Shes also a wonderful mom to 2 adorable boys and a wife to a man who I think was separated from my husband at birth. He & my DH were cut from the same cloth, if ya know what I mean but enough on them.
The reason behind the trip:
As you can see in my signature I recently became a mommy. She is the love of my life and I dont know how to go a day without her. We call her Piglet, not just because she loves to eat (which she does) but because her favorite toy is Piglet. This is really hard to say, especially in cyberspace, but in early February my family started talking to me about Post-partum Depression.
I pushed them off & kept going. Until one day my DH said no more and made me go to the doctor. That was about 3 weeks ago. Since then , things have started to get better but Ive had some other health issues and began to miss A LOT of work. Now Im getting in trouble for missing work because I have no sick time since I just had a baby
See how things snow ball? Long story short, Ive taken a leave of absence from my job for 1 month to deal with all of my health issues. And to figure out if we can live of DH income so I can be a SAHM. Which is my dream job, *fingers crossed! 
So day before yesterday my (incredibly wonderful thoughtful) mother offered to send me & someone else for a trip to Disney. A quick trip. A quick, cheap trip. So now Im off to my Happy Place! Now comes the reason for Louises nickname. My SIL was going to go, but she could only go during her Spring Break which is next week and there were no value hotels available. So I asked Louise. Here came the problem. Her DH has been wanting to go to FL for about 2 years now. He would be ok with us getting away for a few days to Gatlinburg or Memphis, or even if I took her home to Michigan. But not to Florida. Anywhere that doesnt have a beach. So Im sure youve guessed by now she told him we are going to Gatlinburg. No I do not agree with this
. I cant imagine, but I dont have to either. My DH is supportive of this trip. He is bummed he isnt going but he knows it will be good for me. So I cant put her name and you will not see pictures of her. This will almost be like a solo trip
but I will have someone else to take my picture! I am always behind the camera but not this time!
