Thanks for the towel advice...I just don't think we can pack anymore. We aren't paying for a seat for Austin so we only get 3 carryons and I really only want to pay for one suitcase. I have a coverup so we should be ok. Otherwise I know whose towels to borrow

I think a cover up should be fine. Just use the towels they have! Ha Ha or you can borrow ours! LOL

So I've decided to order a mini wedding cake. It's $25 from the boardwalk bakery. I left a message for the AKL in room dining to see if I can get it there, which i prefer. We'll see. brad knows I'm getting it. But the Boardwalk bakery said they can put little mickey heads on it. I'll probably use them. We're going to Epcot the first day anyway so we'll be right there at it.


I found a bag I want.

It's $20. The poster said they got it at DHS. They also said there is a shirt! This bag will be mine!!!

I decided to order a cake from the boardwalk bakery instead of AKL. I spoke to Sandra. She was sooooo nice.

I ordered the mini wedding cake with mickey heads and flowers. She said she could incorporate the pink that was in my wedding dress and on our wedding cake.

I emailed her a pic of our cake and my wedding dress.

The cake flavor options are vanilla, chocolate, or marble. I chose marble. The icing is buttercream. The filling choices are buttercream, white chocolate mousse, chocolate mousse, and one other but I forgot. I chose buttercream because I didn't know if mousse would last in the fridge. We plan on just snacking on it throughout the week. It's small but I'm sure it's rich.

I can't wait to see it! We pick it up on the 9th. I'll be sure to keep a pic of it in my camera to show ya'll that wednesday.

How do I call AKL if I want to get a cake or something for our room. Jasons bday is the 2nd of May and our ann. is the 6th of June. So I thought it might be a cute idea to order something. He really likes chocolate covered strawberries~

I called the cake hotline number 1-407-827-2253. It prompts you to choose where you want the cake and you would just pick the AKL choice.

The cake hotline gets you to the Boma and Jiko restaurant cake line when you follow the AKL prompt. However, they can only do the sara lee premade cake that you ask for at the podium, a mickey head cake, or a zebra cake with amaretto filling, like a zebra dome. The second and third cakes are around $48 plus tax and gratuity. If you want a special cake you have to get the number from someone for the special cakes. The specialty cakes are made somewhere else in Disney and delivered to AKL. One of the disney bakeries makes them. There might be a delivery charge but I'm not sure.

The number the lady at the cake hotline gave me for specialty cakes for AKL is 407-560-3551. You'll talk to the chef and they'll tell you what they can do. The mini wedding cake is $25 and I know it's available at GF and Boardwalk Bakery but I don't know about AKL.

Stafford was the number one pick!!! I just love him. He's so cute and sweet. Stafford played for UGA.
