Well, we had a FANTASTIC weekend trip and it was just not enough!
I wish I had had more time at All Star Movies- it was such a cute resort. I ordered my dinner while on the bus and well, it took forever, but I was rewarded with them accidentally pulling two of my order. The CM just winked at me when I said I was only suppose to have one sandwich and fry, and said "It's all right here!" I guess since that's what was there, it was better just to take it?
Transferring our luggage was fairly painless, except my oldest totally forgot to give her bookbag, so we realized as we got to Magic Kingdom she was carrying her school laptop & notebooks! It was one of those moments when you just have to laugh, because she is just so used to carrying it all day at school!
Traveling with our nephew, his wife, and baby was amazing! We just had so much fun. I am glad we got the Villa though- it was amazing to have the extra space in the room since we did tend to spend so much time there! Saratoga Springs was an amazing resort. I'd love to stay there again! We were in the Paddock's section and I loved it! We had a smaller pool, that still had a slide and kiddie area, plus our bus stop was pretty quick. I felt terrible a few times we had to just drive right by the last bus stop because the bus was completely full.
I do feel like they were doing their best- but no standing on the bus really reduces the amount of people you can get in there!
The crowds were totally manageable- other than Test Track and Flight of Passage, we didn't wait more than about 45 minutes in any line. We found most of the time, the posted waits were more than we actually waited and the social distancing really makes it hard to judge how long you have to wait. Slinky Dog went down after we were in line for about 30 minutes, and we ditched that, because we wanted to go back to swim at the pool anyway!
Rise of the Resistance was AMAZING. I am still shocked we got Boarding Group 5!!!! Can you imagine? And it was my nephew who scored that. With ZERO practice- he just did what we told him and he said "Group 5!" my husband and I were shocked. It was so amazing. And good thing we got in so early... because the ride went down later in the day.
I will try and come back and add a few photos later! Here is a link to my Instagram if you want to see what I posted there!
