I’ve always wanted to do a trip report but never got around to it. Since this is going to be a short weekend trip I figured why not and give it a try!!

A little about me, I’m a Disney fan at heart love everything about it and try to go as often as we can. I wouldn’t say my husband loves Disney but he never says no to a trip:lmao: Our 5 year old pirate has done Disneyland, Disneyworld and Disney cruise more than his age and our little Tinkerbell just enjoyed her first trip in October to celebrate the Halloween party.

The weekend trip is going to be DH and myself the kids are staying home:worship: Were celebrating my birthday and time together by ourselves:lovestruc For years I have been wishing to enjoy a meal at Club 33 and have been doing a lot of networking and talking to people about Club 33. During our trip in October DH was chatting with someone and they got on the subject of Club 33 and lol behold that person family member is a member to Club 33, he saw how excited I was he said he is going to make my wish come true:cloud9: Within 2 weeks we have our reservation for dinner at 7:30 at Club 33.

Now for the planning since this is a spur of the moment trip where doing this on a budget Being that we just got back last month. Were leaving in 30 days and I need to get planning.

Hi. I have been dying to experience Club 33 for years. I can only afford disneyland once a year to every two years which doesnt allow much opportunity to truly get the history and grandeur of disney. It would be a dream come true to be able to see that place for my birthday this year, how do you find members? It is all I ever hoped for. I love the romance and history of it all and it would truly make my 20th the most magical birthday ever.

It's all about networking and talking to anyone
About Disney. It's amazing how many people that love to talk about Disney!! We ran into this member while at the parks in October.

Planning list:
Flight; used our miles and have it booked.
Hotel; still working on that detail
Car; I have a rental reserved at Alamo for $45.00 still debating if we need it or not.
Park Tickets; I upgraded my hopper ticket in October for an AP and tried to with DH and our son, but since they walked away from me I couldn't, so they gave me a pass that keeps them valid until we return to upgrade DH's.

Next the dinning planning!!!

Hopefully soon I will have some photos uploaded from our recent trip to share. The only problem is it takes me forever to upload then download to photobucket :(

Its a fun thing to walk into club 33. You will enjoy it. Take lots of pics. I went in the 90's. I am sure you will have alot to talk about when you come back.

Both my husband and myself are really excited to go and enjoy the moment. I plan on bringing both our cameras so we each can take pictures!!

I work the weekends so get to come on that much during that time. But I did get some dinning reservations made.

So far:
Dinner at Club 33
next day
Lunch at carnation Cafe
Dinner at Blue Bayou

Not sure what to do for breakfast yet, don't think we want to do any character meals as we always do them with the kids.

Still trying to figure out our hotel status, I'm having a hard time choosing where to stay. Since I have our points tied up in another reservation, we will have to stay off site as I will not pay $500 for 2 nights! I think it will be either the HOJO at $268 with discounts or the Doubletree at $200. We will have a car so I need to check and see how much the hotels charge for parking.

We decided on the HoJo since the doubletree charges $14 for parking I'd rather pay $29 more and the luxury of having a 5min walk vs 15-20mins, so I got that booked. We will have one breakfast at Mimi's restaurant, hope it's still good food compared to 7 years ago!

Returned last night and had a wonderful time at Club 33 Friday was the first day of the menu change and it was different than what I have read and seen, so I was surprised when what I wanted to order wasn't on the menu! I did venture out of my comfort zone and try some new items! Later this week I have photos up of our experience.
