Okay, first I must say I have NEVER done a PTR or TR for that matter and I have no clue what I am doing but, I am going to attempt.. I might also add this will be our first trip to disney, well at least for most of us (8 total going).. Soooo super excited, can't wait to share some details with you.. I will be back shortly to share the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE with you and anything else I feel important.. Thanks in advance for reading along!!

Now I am going to give you the WHO: pictures will come later as I don't have them available at this time:

DH - DH turned 30 this year and has been to Disney world 1 other time when he was 9 yrs old.. DH is the first diabetic in the family who will be going, he has had Type 1 diabetes since he was 6 months old, long time. He currently takes shots.

Me - I recently turned 27 and have NEVER been to Disney, not sure who is more excited me or the kids.. I have done nothing but researched daily since finding out we would be going this summer.

DS - Oldest DS is 9, he is extremely excited about going to Disney for the first time and already planning all the things he wants to see and do while there.. He also is wanting to go to US so he can ride the Jaws ride because he is obsessed with sharks...

DS - Youngest is 6, he loves all things Toy Story, & Phineas & Ferb.. He is especially looking forward to meeting this characters and exploring all the disney magic. He is the 2nd diabetic of the family. He was dx'd with Type 1 at the age of 2 yrs old.. He is currently using an insulin pump.. (Got any sewers around here who might could make me some things to keep his pump in? Just thought I might ask..) I can't wait to see what he thinks about all the fun we will have there.. But scared to see what all the sun and heat will do to his bloodsugars.

DSS - My stepson is 8 but will be 9 before we get to Disney.. He is very excited about going and is also planning all the things he does not want to miss while we are there.. And he is our final diabetic going on the trip. He was dx'd just last April and is taking multiple shots a day.. Not sure what disney will do with his bloodsugars as they fluctuate so much daily..

DSD- My stepdaughter is 7 and she is a true diva.. She loves Tinkerbell and all the princessess.. She is really looking forward to the trip as well. She is convinced that she needs all new clothes for the trip, can you blame her?

Then there is my MIL & FIL - They will be going on the trip with us.. Actually they are paying for most of the trip, and this is a true blessing because otherwise there is no way we would be able to afford to go.. As much as I am very excited about going, I am also stressed out with some things, but I know that things will work out, after all we are going to disney right?!?!?

We will be traveling to disney by car, 2 cars to be exact..... More details to come at a later date!!
