The only date available for us to see the parade is a Saturday night. Time in the park in limited, so we do not want lots of time holding down a viewing location. Do you think we could find a good viewing spot for the late parade? Or, would it be best to do a dinner package and have a reserved spot? I am assuming that you could choose the late parade with the package. TIA

I'd do the late parade. Typically the little kids that are still in the park for the first parade are gone by then so the families aren't hogging the spots. Also it's after fireworks, another reason why the first is a nightmare to try and see. If you do try for first show the end of Main Street about 30-60 minutes beforehand they will put up the rope by the firehouse. As they put the rope out follow them!

We did the parade last July by catching the tail end of the first parade, then zipping into our spot while the crowds were dispersing from the first parade/fireworks. It was easy peasy.
