PTN On-The-Go Package at AO -- Availability

I have a reservation set for Saturday but given the forecast showing rain, there is a chance that PTN might get cancelled.
Given that PTN's last showing is this weekend, what are the chance that AO packages will be available for walk up??!
We have only done the BB package in the past so I've never paid attention to see if AO has been sold out before.
I have to cancel today since we will be travelling tomorrow and I'd miss the cancellation window.

I don't know if anyone can give you a guarantee on this BUT we were in the parks yesterday and I just learned (on here) that DL was at capacity.

There was rain also predicted yesterday evening. I obsessively watched the forecast all morning and finally decided to go with the PTN Aladdin's Oasis package around 2pm. I made a quick reservation on my phone and the only afternoon options it showed me were 3 and 3:15pm so I did 3:15 (we wanted the 6:30 parade). That said, when we got there, they were still doing walk ups as well.

I think you'd be safe to keep watching weather for a while and maybe even do walk up. If you're really worried, you could also keep checking reservation availability and if you see it start to go down a lot that might force your hand too.

FWIW we really liked the package. The food was good (not fantastic but good and what I'd expect) and the no stress excellent parade viewing was 100% worth it.

We did it on 1/1...had a 6:45 pick up and a spot for the 10:30 parade. They were still doing walk ups when we picked up our food and the viewing area at 10:30 only had about 5 folks in it. There was also lots of space around the area. Fireworks were cancelled that evening though...wonder if that helped clear out the area around the roped off spot?
