PSP or IPOD Video?

My DS13 wants either an IPOD VIdeo or PSP. I have asked him which he would rather have and he says it doesn't matter either one. I just wanted some opinions on both.

PSP would be my first choice...my DS got one during the summer and can play games, watch movies and listen to mp3 music as well. Only thing is that it doesn't have lots of "kid friendly" games since it's geared towards young adults.

PSP.

If you son is into games, definately. It costs less, and it has more features. I purchased a used one off eBay for $175 and use it every day on my commute in on the train. It was the best $175 I spent this year. I only have 2 games and 2 movies, and am not bored yet. Just my 2 cents!

WOW I didn't know the PSP was MP3 as well. I went with the PSP for my DS because I thought he would go for the games more anyway.
