PSP / DSI region locked ???

Hi guys,
I have googled this question and had no definate answers for either console.
I gather that the PSP is not region locked for games just for movies??
As for the dsi welli cant even find any info at all.
Are there any gamers that can give me a definate answer??

I always thought that software specifically designed for the DSi was region locked? - could be wrong

My DS lite works with games from the US, but i dont know about DSi, I'm waiting for the 3DS

We purchased my sons DS lite in america and it works fine with games from the UK....only difference is the plug for the charger

Yep. Deffo not region locked. Either of them.

Like someone else said only issue will be the plug. Just buy new power adaptor off ebay. Cheap.

Games for both handhelds are region free.

Movie disks on the PSP are however region coded.

We bought a P&F game in DTD which did not work on DS's DSI - they refunded it no problems.

We are going with getting the consoles in this country now as there seems to be a will work but for both !!

I think it was originally said that the DSi wouldn't play US games etc but DD says hers plays them all okay
