PSE or CM SBC+

Hi,
I was just wondering what the main differences between the two were. I already have PSE but haven't played around with it very much. I was at a CM party and she was talking about SBC+. It looks like it would be easier to use than Photoshop. I have also been reading the SBC thread. I can't decide if I should get SBC....any comments or suggestions?

Since I'm the one that started the SBC+ thread, you can guess what gets my vote! Hands down, I love SBC+. It was designed for digital scrapping, PSE was designed for editing photos. Pse excels at photo editing and SBC+ excels at digi scrapping. I have both programs and I still use SBC+ more. For the price, it can't be beat and if you find something you want to do that can't be done in SBC+, pop over to PSE, make what you need and drop it on your page in SBC+. I see no reason not to have both, but I'll never give up my SBC+!! I LOVE it!!

I don't use Memory Manager. I use Picasa to organize my pictures and ACDSee to organize my digi scrap supplies.

I have Picasa and maybe ACdesee (I think they came with my Sony camera Cd???), but I've never used either. If you organize in Picasa will they be on your hard drive multiple times? Right now my pics are in the my picture folder on my computer. Thanks.

EDIT: I just ran Picasa and my digi scrap downloads and some other pics went in there,but not the my picture pics?

Hello Another SBC+ fan! You can't go wrong for $60.00. I have PSE too and I rarely use it. I learned to use it right before I discovered SBC+. The learning curve was much longer. Everything seems to flow naturally in SBC+. SBC+ is so easy to use and the result is so much nicer than most of the "scrapbook programs" out there. There are a few things that I would like it to do - but they are always updating the software and the updates are free. If you have been on the SBC+ thread - you can see the beautiful pages that have been done. Check out the links at the bottom of the signatures on that thread and look at what they have done with the software (especially DisneyCruiser2008, labdogs42, and quiltymom). Whatever you choose - you will love digital. No mess and a beautiful result. I have 30 completed traditional scrapbook albums and I miss paper scrapbooking on occasion but with a 7 year old, two 3 year olds and one due in May - I may never breakout my paper stuff again!
