We are leaving on Saturday, and was told by a CM when I made my ADR that alot of the little girls attending wear Costumes. We are going for Breakfast, and trying to decide if we should bring DD3's Princess dress."

Also, hers is more of a pink "Fairy" costume...do you see all sorts of dress up, or only actual character costumes? I have only been able to find Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty costumes, but Ariel is her favorite (I think it is the red hair connection). It just seemed sort of pointless to buy one of the other costumes since they weren't her favorites, but I don't want her to feel left out either.

Thanks

Any "princess" "fairy" costume is great, my DD 7 1/2 still wears costumes....but I always take a change of clothes in case she gets hot and uncomfortable.

I agree with mommy2mrb - any type of girlie dress up outfits would be fine. :)

I also always bring a change of clothes for DD so she can change out of her dress if she wants. princess:

Please don't feel that your little one must be dressed up to attend the princess meals though. Our DD wore her Cinderella dress to CRT for breakfast, but opted to just wear shorts and a tee to go to lunch with the princesses at Akershus in Norway, Epcot. She didn't feel out of place at either location. :goodvibes

I went with my dd's in 2006. One wore Tink and one wore Minnie (I was concerned that they weren't "princesses" but the princesses fussed all over them talking how they must know their friends tink and minnie. If they had been wearing a pink fairy outfit they still would have fussed. Trust me they know how to make every child feel incredibly special (even in T-shirts, as they were for a different character meal). Oh, a little tip, if you have a plastic zipper bag (like one from a new comforter set), that worked wonders. I put the bag with their change of clothes in it in the bottom of our stroller (got all the air out to make it really flat), then when they changed I put both costumes in it (again, getting the air out) and we forgot they were even with us.

Thanks! I think what we will do is take it in some sort of plastic bag with her little glitter shoes, and then change her as we get there if she wants to. That way she doesn't have to walk around in it, but then it doesn't weigh alot or get dirty/messed up in the back pack afterwards.

that you want to buy your daughter an Ariel dress then the Disney store in DTD has pretty much all of the dresses. The original BBB is in the store. I haven't looked in the new BBB in the castle, but they may have them there too.
